GrantdEquity is an AI-powered equity compensation platform built for financial advisors managing clients with stock options, RSUs, ESPPs, and other equity instruments.
The problem it solves is real: nearly half of all equity recipients cite fear of making a mistake as their biggest barrier to acting on their grants. Most don't know when to exercise, how much tax they'll owe, or how exposed they've become to a single stock. Financial advisors had no dedicated tool to manage this at scale — they were working off spreadsheets and generic software that wasn't built for the job.

The Challenge
Equity compensation planning touches tax law, behavioral finance, and real-time market data — all at once. Before we wrote a single line of code, we mapped out what the platform actually had to do:
- Handle multiple equity types — ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, RSAs, ESPPs — each with different vesting logic, tax treatment, and valuation rules
- Run deep tax modeling — federal, AMT, state, and FICA — simultaneously, per client, per grant
- Process documents intelligently — extracting grant data from PDFs and statements without manual input
- Model scenarios — simulating stock price movements from -80% to +80% and scoring exercise decisions across a full portfolio
- Scale without limits — built for hundreds of advisors, each managing thousands of clients
- Work across borders — supporting international stocks and clients in different tax environments
